Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these terms is to stipulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Service and users regarding the use of calendar-based task management and diary services provided by Todo Diary (hereinafter referred to as "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these terms are defined as follows:

  • "Service" means all online services provided by Todo Diary.
  • "User" means members and non-members who use the Service in accordance with these terms.
  • "Member" means a person who has registered as a member of the Service and can continuously receive information from the Service and use the Service continuously.
  • "Password" means a combination of letters and numbers set and registered by the member themselves to verify the member's identity and protect the member's rights and confidentiality.

Article 3 (Publication and Amendment of Terms)

① The Service posts the contents of these terms so that users can easily know them on the initial screen of the Service.

② The Service may amend these terms when deemed necessary, and when amending the terms, the effective date and reasons for amendment shall be specified and announced on the initial screen of the Service from 7 days before the effective date to the day before the effective date along with the current terms.

③ Users have the right to disagree with the amended terms, and if they do not agree with the amended terms, they can stop using the Service and withdraw. However, if the Service continues to be used after the effective date of the amended terms, it is considered that the user has agreed to the amended terms.

Article 4 (Membership Registration)

① Users apply for membership by filling in member information according to the form set by the Service and expressing their intention to agree to these terms.

② The Service registers users who have applied for membership as in paragraph 1 as members unless they fall under any of the following:

  • If there is false information, omission, or error in the registration contents
  • If it is judged that registering as a member would cause significant technical difficulties for the Service

③ The time of establishment of the membership registration contract is the time when the Service's acceptance reaches the member.

Article 5 (Provision and Change of Services)

① The Service provides the following services:

  • Calendar-based schedule inquiry service
  • Todo creation, modification, deletion, and completion management service
  • Daily memo (Diary) writing and management service
  • Automatic recurring task generation service
  • Statistics and progress tracking service
  • All other services additionally developed by the Service or provided through partnership agreements

② The Service may modify or change all or part of the Service to improve service quality.

Article 6 (Service Suspension)

① The Service may temporarily suspend the provision of services in case of reasons such as maintenance, replacement, or failure of information and communication facilities such as computers, or interruption of communication.

② The Service compensates for damages suffered by users or third parties due to the temporary suspension of service provision for the reasons in paragraph 1. However, this does not apply if the Service proves that there is no intention or negligence.

Article 7 (Obligations of Members)

① Members shall not engage in the following acts:

  • Registration of false information when applying or changing
  • Theft of others' information
  • Alteration of information posted on the Service
  • Transmission or posting of information (such as computer programs) other than information determined by the Service
  • Infringement of intellectual property rights such as copyrights of the Service or third parties
  • Acts that damage the reputation of the Service or third parties or interfere with their business
  • Posting or publishing obscene or violent messages, images, voices, or other information contrary to public order and morals on the Service

② Members must comply with relevant laws, the provisions of these terms, usage guides and precautions announced in relation to the Service, and matters notified by the Service, and shall not engage in acts that interfere with the Service's business.

Article 8 (Membership Withdrawal and Loss of Qualification)

① Members can request withdrawal from the Service at any time, and the Service processes membership withdrawal immediately.

② If a member falls under any of the following reasons, the Service may restrict and suspend membership:

  • If false information was registered when applying for membership
  • If the electronic commerce order is threatened by interfering with others' use of the Service or stealing their information
  • If the Service is used to engage in acts prohibited by laws or these terms or contrary to public order and morals

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

① The Service is exempted from responsibility for service provision if it cannot provide services due to natural disasters or force majeure equivalent thereto.

② The Service is not responsible for service use obstacles due to members' fault.

③ The Service does not guarantee the reliability, accuracy, etc. of information and materials obtained by members through the Service, and is not responsible for damages caused thereby.

④ The Service does not assume any responsibility for the accuracy, reliability, etc. of the information, materials, and facts posted by members on the Service.

Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)

① The Service establishes and operates a damage compensation processing organization to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users and to compensate for damages.

② If there is a user's damage relief application related to e-commerce disputes between the Service and users, the Service may follow the mediation of the dispute mediation agency commissioned by the Fair Trade Commission or the mayor/provincial governor.

Article 11 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)

① Lawsuits concerning disputes between the Service and users shall be governed by Korean law.
